Paula Rood began her career in nursing over two decades ago. Paula’s experience began in North Carolina as a First Assist in the operating room in a reconstructive plastic surgery group. Paula moved to California in 2003, and her love of aesthetic medicine led her to a career in injectable fillers, Neuromodulators such as Botox and Dysport, lasers and other aesthetic modalities.

Paula works with every patient to create an optimal natural refreshing look. Each of Paula’s patients can expect a personalized treatment plan using a combination of customized therapies. Due to Paula’s expertise in aesthetic procedures, she has a loyal following throughout the Napa Valley.

In addition, Paula trained other practitioners in the skills of injectables and lasers throughout the US for the major aesthetic companies. Paula authored a book in 2007, “The Complete Guide to Compliance in the Aesthetic Practice”, a resource for professionals looking to navigate the complexities of aesthetic medicine. Paula also started the “Northern California Aesthetic Nurses Association” so aesthetic peers could collaborate for best practice.

Paula holds a Master of Science in Nursing from Spring Arbor University and certifications in aesthetic medicine, laser safety, and medical compliance.
Paula is a retired Commissioned Officer Army veteran, having served 23 years in the US Army and in Paula’s spare time, she enjoys hiking, skiing, pilates, travelling and spending time with her bunny.
