Claire-Audrey Y. Bayan, MD

Physician

After completing medical school and a cutaneous oncology research fellowship at Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons, Dr. Bayan pursued a joint residency program in internal medicine and dermatology. With only five such programs available in the USA, this rare and competitive training offers a unique opportunity to cultivate advanced skills for managing complex dermatological conditions that impact multiple organ systems. Dr. Bayan therefore has a holistic understanding of how systemic diseases can manifest through the skin and is uniquely equipped to offer her patients highly nuanced and effective patient care.

Dr. Bayan was born in California and is of French and Lebanese descent. She is deeply passionate about diversity in medicine. She has volunteered, studied, and worked in Zambia, Thailand, the United Kingdom, France, and with minority communities across the USA, including at the Indian Health Services in Zuni, New Mexico. These experiences have enriched her medical practice and broadened her perspective, and she is committed to delivering compassionate and culturally informed care to a diverse patient population.
