Dr. Mariam Amin was born and raised in Austin, TX before attending the Hotchkiss School in Lakeville, CT. From there, she went on to complete her undergraduate and medical education at Brown University as part of the 8-year Program in Liberal Medical Education. After completing medical school, she completed her residency in Dermatology at Emory University where she served as co-chief resident. While at Emory, she also pursued extra training in Quality Improvement.

Her professional interests include general dermatology and cosmetics, health technology, quality improvement, and teledermatology.
